Pollack
Pollack are
normally targeted by drifting over offshore wrecks and reefs however
they can also be caught on inshore reefs but these fish are
generally smaller. Artificial lures fished on long flowing traces are
the normal way to fish for pollack but sometimes live bait can make a
difference. Tides don't really come into it but drifting offshore is
always easier on small tides. The take policy for pollack is the same as for cod.
